Trouble with 2000 Ford Explorer

Trouble with 2000 Ford Explorer
new to this web site. i have a 2000 ford explorer that threw 2 codes the first time the "check engine light came on and then threw the same two and a third the second time the check engine light came on. The first two codes are, PO171 "System too lean Bank 1"
PO174 "System too lean Bank 2"
and the third was:
P1507 "Idle Air control under speed error"
Not sure what all this means. not much of a mechanic but the Mechanic i took the truck to twice has ran out of ideas as to what to do. He changed the fuel filter and checked for vaccum leaks and has found nothing. The check engine light is on for the third time and i'm a little hesitant to take it back to him. in the "notes" it says that he, "Cleaned the MAF sensor, Check the 1 AC motor - all tests OK but could be a soft code."
If anyone has any suggestions then let me know. thank you in advance.
