Scrape off the rust and other crap and you'll see that those heads actually say D3VE-A2A. The other info regarding these heads is more or less correct.
and for the record, I have actually seen a set of "D8VE" heads that had an actual casting date of 1974. If you know anything about Fords numbering system you would know that is not possible thus they had to be D3VE heads.
The only way to find out the actual year is to check the date casting code.
