460 MPI

Do any of you have any experience with multiport fuel injection for the 460? I know I can get an intake manifold modified for MPI (pretty expensive) but are there alternatives, such a Ford unit that I'm not aware of.

The late-model EFI460 truck engines are MPI.The F-600 thru F-800 medium duty trucks also used a EFI429 that was MPI.The only aftermaket EFI intake,that I'm aware of, for EFI460 truck applications was available from a company out in California(I've forgotten it's name)for about $800-$995.I have a letter from them around here somewhere. I'll have to look for it,and give you the info about it.

look at Summit and Jegs and Ford Motorsport,, you can also buy aftermarket throttle bodies that will flow better than stock. bigger openings than stock, more power. CJ. ....
