During the past year I drew unemployment for two weeks, I still have not got the tax form from them, but could use the extra cash when getting my taxes done, So if I take along the last paystub from unemployment will they be able to do my taxes? Thanks Ryan
They should be able to and then when you do get the form you can stick in a file to save in case you get audited. Most of those things have to be mailed by today though so it should show up in a couple of days if you can wait until early next week and then just file electronically with an direct deposit.
Ryan, by law they have until Jan 31rst to get you the info. It would be best if you could get the proper info, so you might be able to call?
Can you look back thru your bank records and total up what was sent to you?
You can file, and if there is a difference you can always file a admended 1040, however it is against the law to sign and file a fraudulant form, so make sure you have exhausted all reasonable means to get the proper information.
wasnt in the mail today... I have always went to get my taxes done, but is expensive... If I file electronically how long should I expect to wait to get them back?

If you have your taxes done they can do the e-file for you. If you do direct deposit it can be as quick as a week or two early in the season if you have a simple return.
The law says the forms have to be post marked by today, not in your hand by today.
Ok so I should be getting them within the next 2-3 days... I just cant seem to want to spend all that money to get them done..But in the other hand I dont know what I am doing to do them myself..Whats the cheapest place to get them done?
