The I ran across this monster. Watch up to 7 parametes, data log, download to your PC, software upgradeable, set warning levels, control defueling by EGT's/boost/oil temp. Make's you breakfast in bed on special ocassions.....
Rich, those gauges look really nice. But I think it would be hard to know what is going on while raceing or WOT. I like my needles on mine, I just have to glance and know what is happening. For me that is not the way I would go.
I agree Rick, I probably wouldn't get rid of my current gauges - thinking about one of digital type gauges to suppliment the others. Probably overkill, just interesting to see the new stuff coming out. The point that intersted me the most about the quadzilla setup, is you can set your chip/system to defuel at specified temps/EGT's/etc. - keep from hurting things.
Rich i've got that quadzilla commander (I assume that's what your talking about, my computer at work wouldn't let me open the link), but it's just ok really. I think if I were to do it over again, I would get regular guages, and I may end up doing that anyway. But it doesn't just plug into that obd port, it installs like a guage would. Plus the monitor is kind of cheap looking. But it does seem to work well, and the numbers seem pretty accurate, but I don't really know how all of the things work on it, I just plan on using it as guages.
Yeah, Rich, I agree it may help with saving your truck from over heat. BUT, I would rather decide when to let up on the go pedal. Sometimes when I am pulling and decide to pass another puller, I can let the EGTs come up a little higher for a short time. My wifes kin has a Dodge with that same system. He can't win a race because his truck quits at the temp he sets it at. He bitches about that all the time. That is a good thing, I guess.

Yep, that's the one Jeffery. If you ever get around to playing with the advanced functions please post your observations.
