halo led headlights

I found two sets of halo led headlights that look like something id wanna put on my truck. i like the chrome look and wouldnt want to put black headlights on a blue truck. Out of these two sets on ebay does either one look worth buying and which would you recommend?

I'd be weary of buying either. Aftermarket lights like those are usually cheap and the ones I've seen on other peoples trucks around town are yellow-ing which means the cheap plastic is starting to deteriorate.

Yellowing wouldn't be my first concern since I've had two different sets on my truck (back to stock now-only b/c of "other" toys). Unless you can procure replacement LEDs I won't touch another set. I spent too much time (and $$) on digi-key and Radio Shacks to find the lit'l LEDs.
Course my driving habits may be a bit more rough than everyone else's leading to the halt in the LEDs function.

You may also want to watch out for them leaking. Used to work with a guy who had some on the previous style F150 and they leaked and as 99Trigger said, he had some LED's go out as well.

Funny you brought that up. I somehow managed to breach the seal on the pssngr side assembly of my first set. I dried the whole thing out and removed the old material and re-sealed w/clear Automotive/Marine grade RTV silicone. It held till the one of the housings shattered and bought a second set.
