A few of years ago I was trying to buy a junk 78 or 79 F250 Supercab 4x4 with a Dana 60 and a snow plow when I noticed a overhead console. I tried not to act to interested in order to get a lower price(didn't work), and later forgot about the truck....Question I have is....Could this have been a option?.......I have never before or since seen a overhead console on a Supercab (Ive seen the plastic aftermarket ones in reg cabs). The one I saw looked like a factory piece with wood grain and chrome plastic trim. Anybody seen one? Have One? Maybe post a Pic?

 

If it helps any SC's are my thing and I've done a ton of car lot to out behind the barn peeking over the years.I'd say with about 95% confidence that what you saw was made after market or a one timer by one of that trks PO's

 

supercabs are my thing to and ive never seen a factory overhead console.

 

JC Whitney sold an over head console and probably still do. That's more than likely what someone installed.
