I have a problem with one of my fuses. The slot, for want of a better word, doesn't hold the fuse tight enough. This fuse is for the power windows and interior lights. It doesn't maintain suffcient contact and won't work all the time. Any suggestions will sure be appreciated.

the fix
The balde type fuses sit inside a clamp type connector. If you can get a very small flat blade screwdriver in behind the curve of the clamp & force it closer to the blade it will make better contact. Unfortunately it will not last. Heat is your enemy & that connection has aparently been heated from being loose for some time. All you can do is try it. If you collapse it all the way down you will not be able to get a fuse in it so Don't go trying to be Hercules on it.

I had given some thought to try and wedge something in between the fuse and the holder. Just wanted to see if anyone else had ever had this problem. Anyhow I'd rather not have to replace the fuse console but maybe it will come to that. I'll keep in touch. Thanks.
