You actually have a ton of used springs up there in No. CA. I see thm all the time, I just never can justify a trip up there.
I also have found them at local off road shops. These guys do not care what happens to the old springs after a customer drops of a truck for an upgrade lift. I have seen piles and piles of good springs that go to the scrap yard.
A guy with a pizza or two around lunch time, or a fella that stopped by just before closing time with a few cold adult beverages might be able to easily make friends and be able to gain a little access to this gold mine scrap pile.
