I F'd up my AC
I was installing some light brackets under the hood in front of the AC condensor and managed to poke a pin hole in it. As expected, all of the refrigerant blew out until it was empty. So now I have a hot AC from a hole in the condensor. Thats problem one. Problem two, now when I have the truck running (even once the hole was covered) there is a leak somewhere around the evaporator somewhere. I cant feel where its coming either. Question: Why would making a hole in the condensor affect the evaporator? Also, any ideas on a fix? How much am I looking at to replace the dryer and possibly condensor. Sorry for the long one. Thanks
