Replacing outer window belt seals

Is there a trick to these or do you just pull them up and out?

Tried to do them last weekend, they wouldn't budge, but I think they were frozen on.

I assume your talking about the rubber and felt strips at the bottom of the window where it rolls down. I replaced all 4 on my truck. You'll have to take the door panels off though. It makes it 20 times easier. They should just pull off. If you replace the inner ones on the door panels you'll definitely want to take the panels off to keep from breaking them.

It sure does. I should know, because I replaced them on mine. It gives you more room to see what you are doing and move them around. Besides that it is easier to grab ahold of them. You can probably do it with out taking them off, buts it easier if you do. The should just pull off. If you have new ones, you can see the type of clips that are used. They can be hard to get off.

100% agreement. You need to remove the door panels to easily replace the outer strips.
