having alot of trouble out of warn auto hub locks. interested in c/o to manual hub locks, truck is a 86 f-150 4x4, will i have to have the spindle nut conversion kit also ? any help would be greatly appreciated.
When was the last time the bearings and the hub internals were greased and lubed?
For some reason I have been running into a lot of people almost running their front
bearings dry!! Yes you need to actually grease them puppies it's not like the rear end
getting lube all the time!! I would try some light oil on the hubs if they are dry in there
and as soon as possible take it apart and grease them puppies. I prefer manuals but a
properly lubed and maintained auto system can work for a long time!!
