I have a 2007 FX4 . I plan on buying some 22" rims with a 32" tire. The truck is still stock.(not lifted). I plan on lifting it next year. Will a 305 40 22 tire fit with out any modifications? 32"x 12" I belive is the size of them? Any info would be great. Thanks!
Your right, I have problems stopping now sometimes, I currently have 20's on there now. Thanks for the info, I just wanna make sure the tires and rims will work before I purchase them. (Internet purchase) I would hate for them to rub.
I'm gonna lift it next year with a 6" lift in the front and 3" in the rear, so I plan on putting some 35" tires on these 22" rims! I'll be ghetto gangsta' redneck in the mud!

wow, i almost feel bad for you so ill add this, you can fit 35s fine on a levelled truck, id vote for doing that, level truck (2.5" AS kit is good) then as long as you use stock wheels or close to same backspacing as stock you can fit 35x12.50s with minimal rubbing, just a thought, and if u kept ur stock wheels you wont get laughed at at the mudhole for havin 22s...

Just Black 22's with a 32" All Terrain tire... Not going with the Chrome Bling Bling..Why is everyone such haters on 22's? I think they will look nice with a big tire on 'em. I don't crawl rocks. I just get in a little mud here and there. I ain't afraid to get them dirty. Ill post some pic's next week when I get 'em. Thanks for the info on the size fit thought. Much Appreciated
It would be my guess that everyone is being such "haters" cause 22's just dont seem realistic for wheeling and this is the offroad forum, i mean if thats what makes you happy then do it, its just with a smaller wheel you will get more sidewall which means more stability (i believe someone please correct me if im wrong), and i personally think that ats or mts look stupid on a big wheel like that just my opinion though, to each his own.
