Edge prices
I'm going to order the Edge for my 04-150 and was wondering about where everyone got theirs from and before I buy, just wanted to know price and about service after the sale things like that. Any good or bad will help,thanks

I got mine from www.discountpowerparts.com. They have them listed now for 399.20 with free 2 day shipping. They are also a site sponsor. I believe edge has pretty much gave retailers a set price to sell them by. Most all the places I looked have them for 399.20.

I was planning on purchasing one this week and was going to go directly through Edge. Now I am going to have to do some checking. The Edge direct price is $449. How can the retalilers be selling them for $399. Has there been a sudden drop in price since they went up last year and Edge has not updated their web site?

Well it use to be the retailers could set there price at whatever they wanted(I got mine for $350). Then Edge made it so they had to be in a certain price range. The suggested retail price is $449 so that is what Edge has it listed for on there site.

They hover right around $300 on ebay. No post sale customer service but for $100 in savings some are willing to risk it.

The customer service is worth the extra. I have used it several times and have had to have a unit replaced under warranty.

I just got one off the classifieds for $300. Edge will give customer support no matter where you buy it. I have had one in the past and they jsut started helping me through some issues and never asked where I got it.
