Ground issues?

Ground issues?
I have an 03' powerstroke, automatic that all the sudden started gowing nuts. the hood lamp and dome lights were flashing along with my guages and stereo i tapped the hood lamp and they all stoped but everything quit working windows, door locks everything, we checked the wires to the hood lamp, the ground by the e-brake, batteries, fuses and relays! When ever we probe the hood lamp with a test light the windows and stuff work?! so i don't know what is going on! any help would be great.
