Another question??? RPM'S???
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 17-Nov-01 AT 02:19 AM (EST)]Dunno about maximum sustained but my cruise rpms at 75 is about 3400 rpms. I did a trip from MN to NH and back a couple months ago, did 3200-3400 rpms for hours on end with no ill effects.

also depends on what kind of gear ratio you are running! what kind of sustained running are you refering to? running down the highway at the speed limit, or at wide open throttle running down the highway? a C-6 should be able to handle in the 4,000 r.p.m. range all day long if it has some mods to it, or even a stock trans that may not have to many miles on it. the trick is to keep the transmission running as cool as possible ( i.e. Transmission Cooler ) this is the number 1 enemy of any trans ( heat )! CJ........
