My seat in my 1990 F-150 is pretty much hosed on the drivers side and its starting to mess with my back. Is there any way to fix it? The Cushion is pretty much worn away and the metal bar in the back is snapped in half. What would be a easy fix? New Seat? Buckets? Reapolster?
Bone yard would be my guess.
Hay, dj, will that setup work in a '91 regular cab? Any extra drilling or cutting? That looks nice! I have an auto trans but I can picture those seats in my rig instead of the plastic bench that is there now. Let us know how the swap went.
all I had to do was bend the brakets on the front to a diffrent angle. had to drill new holes because none of the old holes or bolts matched up. I did have to shave a half inch of the center console braket on the passenger side floor to get the bucket seat to fit. woudn't of been so tight if I had off spaced everthing out evenly. But I centered the driver's seat with the steering wheel and that made everthing a little tighter. It should work in a 91 . mines a 95 regulat cab. the seats sit at the same height. the middle seat is a couple inches higher than the arm rest on the door but I"m used to it already, and if I wanted it even with the door I would have to make up a whole new support for the middle seat.
