Sound With DPF gone??

I just put on the MRBP 4" dual exiting exhaust on my truck; it looks 100 times better and a little louder (not even close to what I want) so I am curious with the DPF removed what does it sound like??

I have been watching the site closely waiting to hear milage, power and sound improvements

I will be doing a new wheel package, tuner and possibly a DPF delete in the spring and curious what to expect

thanks

Hopefully this week I'll be putting some video and sound clips on when I get my 5" delete pipe in.

I'm running the DPF delete and you get a little more exhaust and turbo sound but not much. In front of the DPF is a cat which still muffls the sound alot.

So did you just remove the DPF and leave the CAT?

The one I just bought is a 5" direct bolt on, connects to the downpipe, and has the sensor bungs TIG welded.

Ok, that's what I thought. Hopefully when I get my pipe in it will sound like a real truck and not a hair dryer.

I am thinking I will do the DPF delete when the tuners get rid of the Regen mode.

I have been watching this site waiting for someone to post some #'s

I still want to wait a little bit; I only have 9,000 km's so far and want to wait to see if anythong "bad' Happens by removing this stuff

30% thats great,I'm ready to delete mine.
I took a trip this weelend about 500 miles, got between 11 and 15 mpg and every time I stopped and let it Idle I noticed it was in regen.
On the way back I was getting 16 to 21 and did not notice a regen at all.
Also I used C-tane boost on the way and did on use it on the return trip.
If it can be done without problems I think this would be a much better truck without the DPF.

I am ready anytime to do it but do not want to mess around in the cold It's -20C here today.

I have been watching U-Tube to get a listen to these trucks with the DPF removed and I am sold. Between the sound, performance and MILAGE gains and hearing that you can switch back in 15 min!!!

I just need to know which tuner to buy?
