Exhaust Size

Looking at replacing factory muffler with a high flow, Flowmaster or Magnaflow, and need to know the inlet size? Also what offset do I need? Thanks!

I replaced mine with a Super44 Flowmaster. I think the inlet was 2 1/2 and the outlets were 3, but if you take it to a muffler shop to have it done, they have pipe spreaders. Unless you were looking into doing it yourself.

Exhaust Size

I was going to do it myself and reuse the tailpipe. How does the Super 44 sound? I had a 40 series on my last truck. Thanks!

I had a Flowmaster 40 installed on my truck, I don't remember the size but I got the center in /center out and reused my tailpipe after they added like a foot and a half.

Oh yea..it sounds pretty good at idle and low speed and then real quiet on the move...I'm going to switch over to no muffler dual pipes exiting out the rear

I had the 40 series before I got this Super44. I recommend the Super44 over the 40 any day, I am very pleased. It has a deeper, more aggressive sound than the 40.
