air tank application
I want air horns and compressed air available for occasional use on my rig.
I just got in a tandem dump truck to cut up for scrap. The scrapper has the tanks (4 of them) for the air brakes mounted between the frame rails. Would these be a good thing to use as air tanks on my truck? I have some forklift propane tanks too but I have no idea what pressure rating ANY of the tanks have. How many tanks could I mount; how many is too many?

One of the tanks is good for about 10 continuous seconds, I'm guessing.
I guess it depends on how much trouble you want to go through, mounting as many tanks as you can.
If you decide to get all four, make sure that the pump is rated to run continuously because it will take a while to recharge.
