F250 noise

my F250 thumps when I apply the brakes and I can't find where the sound is coming from. Does anyone have any ideas? It sounds like something is springing up and hitting the floorboard but there is no sign of anything impacting and no feeling of an impact, just a thump. It happens less when wheel is turned to the right. It only happens when I'm slowing from 25mph or higher which makes it hard to pinpoint.

what does that have to do with a 2009 f 150?
