No they don't have trap. The range is on the first page of the thread, It's 100 yrds and 35 yds for pistol. I'll bring a few extras and the 5 rnd mag for the AK just in case cause some ranges don't like 30 rounders.
Hmmm lunch......Theres got to be something good in Newberry.
I know that it states somewhere that they don't want you shooting skeet @ the range....that doesn't always stop people though. I know for a fact that there isn't a skeet trap there.
Does everyone like mexican food? There is a good mexican restaurant that has a full bar called La Fogata.
Hey Steve would they have any issues with 30 rnd magazines?
When you say "they", you might not know this but you are referring to the other people in our group. There is no "range master" or anyone who governs how the range is run while you are there. It it a 'come and shoot at your own risk open gun range', if that makes sense.
I meant they as in the range officials, Should of worded it better. Thats cool then I'll bring a 30 rounder with me. I also have several style targets IE: silhouette, 100 yard and pistol targets and a funny one I'll bring along too.
Do we need to bring targets? What else do we need?
Is there a donation box or something? Im sure they cant maintain this thing and keep it open for nothing.
You need to bring your own targets. Don't forget to bring some clothes pins to attach your targets.
There is not a donation box or anything that I know of. I'm honestly not 100% sure how this range is funded. I know that one shift from the operations group where I work went and built a few of the benches out there as well as the shelter over them. They did that as a community service project.
