Got mine done thursday
I got mine done the 24th. I just showed up about 1 and was on the road back out at 1:45. I told them what I was there for and they never asked about a letter or anything, since I NEVER got one, it was no biggie. I told the service writer about the chip and they said No problem....They would just pull the one one and put in the new one..... I heard the guy blow my train horns when he pulled into the shop to put her on the lift, and 32 minutes later, he walked in and told me he was done. I could watch from the waiting room and they only did what they were supposed to. He liked the Lope idle from the DP Tuner and they said it sounded great..told him a little about DP tuner and he said he would check it out....No worries with this dealer but there are some out there that have not been as good as this one......I see no need to pull the chip, just tell them. They are SUPPOSED to only pull the black one and put in a grey one...he had done so many of them, it is second nature for him..they were really good...

Don't have the reciept, bought it at Midnite in the rain in Kansas City. Am now in South Florida so dropping by the same dealership won't happen til mid May. Glad I got it after the price dropped, I guess. Didn't they cost over $100 once??????? Thanks for the reply.

no... no more $180 CPS..i payed 180 from ford when mine went bad..then a 100 from IH to have as a spare...2 months later they came out with a gray $25. (give or take a couple bucks) CPS..i dont have them recieps ether but i did go in for the recall and got a free gray and still have a spare in the glove box...
