This one looks pretty nice from the SGI pictures and hopefully only minor damages . If not then it will be a nice power train for my 53 M100.
I do expect it will go for higher than $500....

I would think yes it might go a little higher, people seem to pick them up for race cars too since they are easy to work on and nice and light. That would a nice powertrain for the M-100!

if you buy it Morris i just may have to buy it off you if it runs and drives and you dont want the engine it would be a fun car to have depending how much work it may need to the suspension but heck looks like in solid shape i have been wanting a stang for quite some time and rather not bid and all that just those inspections dont sound sweet

on a side note im probably dreaming again would be a good car to fix up again and drive once in a while

I`d much prefer an 89-92, more power, better brakes, etc but this would be ok too.

It looks pretty good . Looks like a easy fix and the KMS are not bad at 115,000. It maybe worth fixing back for the road. There was also a 1980 Merc. Capri that did not look that bad either. Except it is a 4 banger.

Did you see it up close or only on the SGI site Glen? I hope it looks as good as it appears from the pic.
The Capri is in Yorkton, too far away for me to bother with 4 cylinder with 215395 kms. My son has an 86 5.0/5 sp Capri and it would be handy for future parts.

Can salvage vehicles from SGI be purchased and taken out of province without being repaired first?

Yes, vehicles can be taken out of province or used for parts, etc. SGI doesn`t really care what you do with it after paying for it. If you want to register it in Sask then struct & mech inspections apply.

Actually if you want to register it anywhere I think it needs to be inspected. You would have to inspect it if you brought it to a different province.
