As Tony said, there's the 501 (Which i am in the process of building) with a 4.14 stroke crank, 6.700" rods, .030 overbore and custom pistons. I've seen a 512, 520, 554, 600 and more. All involve a stroker crank and some involve an aftermarket block with a bore much larger than can be had using a factory block.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 25-Dec-01 AT 10:22 PM (EST)]FORD79 ,just wondering why you chose the 501 combo. I like this combo as you only have to run a .030" bore and it enables you to use a longer rod.Are you using an aftermarket crank?TIA
I got a good deal on the crank and rods. The crank is brand new 4.14 stroke cast steel unit. The rods are 6.7" 4340 steel h beams. The pistons are easy to find also.
