You're exactly right, Mark, and I applaud your courage to "stand up straight" and offer the response you did, as did others along with you.

You can be sure that if you were in any way in trouble with the Mods or Admins over your reply or response, they would let you know immediately and you would not have to guess about it. (Don't ask me how I know, but I do, and am ashamed to admit it, but I've learned from my mistakes.)

Mark, Thanks for asking about this thread. I was gone a while today and couldn't find it this afternoon.

Kwik, I am a supporter but I can't find how to access Club FTE to view this thread. I was wondering if you or others could enlighten me as the the process.

Thanks.

Why was the thread moved in the first place? Has the offending poster become contrite? I've been trying to become a supporter all afternoon and the system will not allow me to. I have contacted FTE support and asked them and have not gotten a reply. So I am missing out here through no fault of my own.

There was nothing in the thread that looked like it got ugly.

Contrite was meant to mean backing off of the brilliant plan of encouraging high speed pursuits in trucks that are for all practical purposes lethal weapons.

ok, I'll clarify what I was trying to say, I'm not sure why they moved it other than it didn't belong.

I'll sure agree with that!! Did I not say it may be better off at My Space, somewhere I have never been, but have been led to believe it's habitants are primarily children and/or those that refuse to grow up.

I just got off the thread. The original poster has given some clarification into the incident. He also pointed out that the person who called it in to police was the waitresses boyfriend, and that he(the original posterhighflyer) had had a relationship previously withe her. So the general gist is there seems to be a jealous boyfriend angle to it. The property owner is a friend and doesn't want to press charges against him. It sounds like he is contrite about the whole thing.

As far as the idiot who recommended the running from the cops and used to drive a maxima and do powerslides, he has't been back to the thread since post number 5 and it's now at 4 pages long, so I believe he got the message.

Good! That was the entire point of my post in the first place. I hope I sent him back into his cave where he belongs.

Dave, thanks for the info about Club FTE, but I had found that earlier and couldn't access any threads. Do you have to be a 3 year subscriber to be a member as I subscribed for only 1 year. May have to upgrade. I was able to access the original thread using the link in Mardadeck's first post here.

I certainly appreciate the advice and concern expressed from most of the posts to the original thread and this one. It is encouraging that most have respect for and understand the authority of the law. There will always be some rotten eggs, on both sides.
