I would go with a locker. If it gets hard to steer which can happen if the surface gets to solid(increasing traction), you can unlock one hub and it will still be better than an open diff. Thats if you have manual hubs.

If you have about 1000.00 to spare go with the ARB selectable locker - then you don't have to unlock one hub
.
And the ARB will give you an onboard air compressor too.
I would go with the Detroit Truetrac limited slip if you budget is more limited.
