master cyclinder sensor?
while doing some maintance on my 2000 250 the sensor on the master cyclinder started smoking. don't know what it is or does but unpluged it and don't have any problems yet. just wondering what it is for and do i have to go to dealer.

We've got this neat little tool here on FTE. If you scroll all the way to the top of the page there is a recall/tsb button where you can search for items Ford has published for your truck. Call the dealer, mention this recall, and see if you can't get this fixed for free. Dealer repairs are always the way to go when there free.
