Ideas for mounting Autometer gauge

Ideas for mounting Autometer gauge

I just bought an Autometer Pro Comp 2 5/8" transmission temperature gauge for my 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty 4 X 4 XLT extended cab long box V10 truck. I can't find a gauge pod in that size...they are all 2 1/16". I've found mounting cups that pedastal mount. I'm thinking of mounting the gauge in the dash if I can find a spot where it would fit and look clean. I have a brake control mounted to the dash below the cubby hole. Does anyone have any good ideas for mounting this gauge or pictures of how they mounted theirs in the dash or...? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris

I mounted my trans gauge just below the instrument cluster to the right of the steering wheel (still part of the dash and easy to read).

You can always find a good spot. Each side of the steering wheel is good, but I had to use spacers as the gauges there are a little deep. It doesn't look bad at all.
