2004 5.4 2v or 3v?

I have a 2004 with the 5.4, how do I tell what valve configuration I have?

f250 in o4 had the 2v. f150 in 04 had the 3v. o5 and up f250 had 3v

yup, the super duty's didnt get the 3v until 05 when the style changed

The 04 F250 still had the 2v. The F150 got it first in 04. The F250 didn't get it until 05.

The 2v has 260hp/350 lb./ft. of torque(1999 1/2-2004). Before that, in the Super Duty trucks, the 2v 5.4L had 235hp/330 lb./ft. of torque. The 2005 to current model year 3v 5.4L has 300hp/365 lb./ft. of torque.
