yea i would agree, go with the roof lights. id also chip it, then give it an intake kit, letting those hemi's breathe is a big deal, get some hp out of it and a bunch more torque. as far as that 4.7 goes, well it is a dog, however, do the same thing to it as you would a hemi and it would not only beat the hemi in fuel economy, but performance as well. Just my 2 cents worth, have had several dodges with the 4.7 and the 5.2, never had the hemi, never wanted one. but i do like the new dodge 3/4 and 1 tons, as long as they are cummins powered, however ill take my old ford anyday......its paid for lol
I agree. I wouldn't want a Hemi in a 3/4 or 1 ton. I'm pretty sure they gear them lower (4.10's or so vs. 3.55 or 3.92 in the half tons), I'd still stick with a Cummins. My brother has a 5.9 with a 6sp and it will keep up with our Hemi autos unloaded.........wouldn't be pretty pulling a trailer. Oh well.
I've actually thought about a chip and maybe intake, but for the gains they claim I'm not sure if I could justify the money. Anymore I don't really need it (reminds me I need to run it hard.....blow the cobs out).
