performance parts

i am looking for performance parts for me 99 5.4l modular engine
i was thinking of a sohc to dohc
any tips

how much do you have to spend? a supercharger would be the best thing to get if you have the money.

try superchangersonline.com, as for going from 2v to 4v heads with no other changes would be a waste of money and effort compared with plopping a SC on.

like if i am going to do the head converstion i plain on rebuliding the motor anyways
it has 107,950 on it and it has the knocking sound

A procharger kit is a good start...it will work well with oem parts and it is mostly bolt on.

allen superchargers makes a bolt on supercharger for the 5.4L

Actually, if you can find a good turbo charger system for it, it will make more power with less boost. Perhaps someone like Hellion makes one.

i don't like turbos
you have to wait for them to spool up to get the full benfit out of them
