2005 Expedition and brake controller

Hello:

This is my first post after my intro post. We are buying a 2005 Expedition 4X4 which does not have the heavy duty trailer tow package. Am I correct in assuming the Expedition has the plug under the dash for the Tekonsha brake controller and the extra blue wire run back to the hitch by the 4 wire plug at the hitch? Does anyone know where the plug under the dash may be located? The Explorer we are turning in at lease end had these although it didn't have the trailer tow package either. Are there any other suggestions you may have for me about towing with this vehicle? Our camper is a Coleman Utah that weighs about 3200 lbs., so it isn't very heavy in relation to the rated capacity.

Thanks in advance for any help you may provide:

The plug should be there, they started including it as a standard option regardless of the packages availible in the F series in 1997. The easiest way to find the plug is to a) look in the manual, or b) buy the correct plug adapter and look under the dash (above the pedals) and find the only receptical that will fit said plug There is only one, and it should be easy to find! The next thing you'll have to do is go to the back of the truck and try to locate the blue wire there, that's the only hard part. If you have a factory seven pin plug you are all set, if you only have the 4 pin plug, you'll have to do some digging at the rear wire harness junction point.

Thank you. It sounds like it is no different than my Explorer then.
