2003 6.0L limited excursion

Got a question. My wife was driving the other day heard a loud pop and the passenger side mirror glass popped out. She was left with the little angled mirror that's under the big one. I looked at it when she came home. There are two black wires sticking out..which I think are the wires for the heat. (We don't have the signal mirrors..but they are the large extendable folding mirrors)

I ordered the replacement glass for the mirror from a ford dealership. It came, but it seems that it attaches to more than just the ball/socket joint. It seems in the directions that there are prongs or some type of pins that push into two or three slots as well. I don't have those. (I think someone had to have been trying to pry the mirror out) So I called the dealer back and asked where to get the pins or prongs...the lady said I have to order the whole mirror assembly ($200). Does anyone have any idea where I can get the pins/prongs without having to now spend another $200? Also...one of the two black wires that are hanging there have metal end clamps which must slide into the mirror to heat it. One of the metal clamp ends pulled off. Any idea where I can get that? thanks for any advice you guys might have.

Electrical connections should be standard spade type ends.

The other pieces you need are plastic threaded pieces that fit into housing providing the electric movement. The motors are in the housing and they rotate pushing or pulling the threaded plastic ends thus moving the mirror.

You can get the whole mirror (unheated/aftermarket) on e-bay for around $80.00.
