It's dark and I turned the lamp selector all the way counter clock wise to the auto lamp position. Started chattering. Noise sounds like it coming from behind the radio. Door Ajar is doing it's own thing, sometimes illuminating when the door is shut sometimes not, power dr locks locking at 5mph(the way it's supposed to), sometimes not. I hope it's not the GEM. Any suggestions.......Just had the instr cluster replaced for $700.
Try cleaning the battery posts on both batteries. Sometimes, bad connections or dying batteries can cause the relay chatter and other problems. How old are they?
Clean the post real good first and see if the chattering stops. If they still do, have them tested. If one is bad, replace both of them as a set. Dying batteries caused my relays to go nuts.

Really, I don't know how to test them but I'll find out. I think there're originals, 2002' How long did your's last?
I'm also getting a clicking every once in awhile. Its like the daytime lights are trying to come on and then go off. I think my noise is coming from behind the multifunction switch... my multifuction switch for my head lights don't work now.. only the high beam selection. First, my low beams died, then a couple weeks later my day time running lights went, now I just have my high beams and fog lights. Fog lights are on a toggle switch though.
