Have you noticed any drone? If so what RPMs?

I havent had a chance to get on the freeway, but driving 55-60mph on city streets, it's only a little louder then stock. I have not noticed any droning sound at any RPM.

Power: It's hard to tell if there is any power increase.

MPG: I can't tell yet since I've been driving harder then I normally do. Once I get over the new sound, I'll start driving like I used to and be able to get a better MPG comparison.

I just wish I hadn't wasted 3 hours trying to do it myself and just paid a pro to do it from the beginning.
Yep.
A long time ago I got tired of having dirt/rust in my eyes, so, I cultivated a friendship with a guy who owns a muffler shop.

WOW...ESP or what? I was just looking at what was available. I wanted the single in dual out behind rear wheel setup (like the new HD150) but it is not available from MagnaFlow yet. Good choice on the weld up. Everyone I have done that used those cheapo clamps ended up leaking after just a few months.

Here's my 2-week update:

MPG has not really improved, still getting about 14.5mpg (City Driving). I haven't noticed any power gains, I towed the boat (7000lbs) last week and didn't really notice any more power, but it would be hard to notice 5-10hp anyways.

On the highway at 70-80mph, you can hear the exhaust a little bit, but it's not really annoying, just a slight deep constant sound. City driving, you don't really notice it except for off the line, when it has a nice deep sound.

So $600 later, no HP gains, no MPG gains, but it does make the Expy sound more like a truck then an mini van, and the large tip looks sweet. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

Thanks for the update. I wonder if a flash of the computer wold help? I know in Nissans if you disconnect the battery for a period of time or do the gas pedal sequence the engne control computer resets and then it will relearn BUt it will have a new varible ie your mod. You only get so much leway but some is nice. Just a thought. It looks great anyway!

I just put a SCT XCal3 on my 2008 with a custom tune (no canned tunes for 2008's yet). I have gone to 17.3 overall and was trying to get to maybe 18mpg with an exhaust and CAI.
