my passenger side rear brake has been sticking! Its happened at least 5 times in the past and then tonight i drove home from work to notice my passenger tire barreling smoke. I replaced the pads on each side, when i pulled the drivers side drum off parts fell out and on the passenger side ( the one thats sticking) it was in tack but a little greasy. Both left and right are completely new and its still sticking on the passenger side!
Disks in the front
Drums in the Backs

Does it stick as soon as you leave the driveway, or do you have to drive it awhile? It could be contaminated parts from whatever was leaking in there or it could be misassembled. I've had contaminated drums before but they wouldn't lock up unless I applied the pedal. Make sure you put everything back together right and nothing is backwards.
Check and see if your e-brake is sticking (The part of the e brake in the drum)...And as sheetsd66 said make sure its all put together right.......And the greas in the drum is from your axle seal (easy fix)
I have had wheel cylinders stick and if it is not to tight you will power through and not know it’s locked. The grease is probably from the axel seal but if the wheel cylinder is leaking and mixing with brake dust it looks like grease, good luck
How do you know its sticking did you jack it up and turn the tire buy hand........ Becouse if there is greas in there it will smoke when you stop any way
when i try to drive off the truck itself has trouble moving and after driving for awhile the drum gets really hot. IM going to go ahead and replace the wheel cylinder and see if that does the trick.

Your gonna have to replace the axle seals if they are leaking, the axle lube will cause the brakes to grab and stick. Just go ahead and service the rear-end and change the axle seals, Also make sure the short brake shoe is on the front, long brake shoe on back.
