Got a 99' Powerstroke for cheap
I just picked up a 99 Powerstroke. 6 speed, xlt package 161K on the odometer for $6900 bucks...Nothing leaks, and it seems to run very well... but it did need some body work...It's previous owner must have been a rancher. It had the typical rancher-ification body mods done to it, which included : A destroyed non opening tailgate( "probably the reason for getting rid of it" ), the inside of the bed looks like about 500 loads of gravel were hauled, and for the cherry on top...a nice scrape down the side from what looked to have been caused by a steel fence post. Here's what it looks like now after a little TLC and some paint.

congrats that is a great price. I paid that much for one with a 5.4 in it a couple of years ago, same mileage. Would have loved to have found a psd in that price range, around here you cant find a 7.3 for less than 10,000 it seems (99 and newer).

i'd a bought it too for that price! hell it's 4x4 x-cab- that would make the perfect hunting truck I am looking for.

Looks like a great deal. I assume it's a late 99 with bigger turbo due to the Powerstroke badges down on the door?
