my 06 auto will occasionally rev a little between 2 and 3, or somehwre there. usually after siting briefly (getting gas or coffee) and starting back out. Only does it once, then shift fine the rest of the drive. Usually only does once a day. Took to dealer when it was under wty and the morons reflashed the computer for a known vibration problem over 50mph. Absolutly nothing to do with the original problem that still exists. now I am past wty and still have a shift problem. It does not do this in tow mode, only in normal and only once a drive. The rev up is brief, lasting a split second. Like the older autos, the plunger would briefly reduce the engine rpms while shifting. Think of this as the plunger not hitting just right.
dealers around here dont get much credit from me as far as service work. I had my truck to 2 seperate Ford dealers for a week at a time too. Neither fixed the problem or even tried to find it. I even explained VERY clear EXACTLY how to duplicate the problem, told service manager EXACTLY what to do and the truck will hiccup EVERY time. Week later I got my truck and it was not fixed. The service manager told me the hooked up the computer and checked the tranny fluid. MORONS.
What really set me off is I got a copy of my oasis report and NEITHER dealer documented the problem.
I did find a little relief from the hiccup by changing the fluid and filter with DEALER supplied proper fluids. It still does it, but not as much. Also, I dont drive it for work any more. Its now the wifes truck.
