Throttle Return Spring picture needed
My truck (see sig) was originally a 302/c4 truck. I have the 'linkage' throttle arrangement, not a cable. Currently I have two springs running from the edelbrock 4bbl to the front of the engine, hooked on a small universal bracket.
What should my truck have had as a 302. Two springs running backwards to a bracket of some sort? I'd love some pics so I can get this a little neater/factory looking. Thanks.

I still have the old 2-barrel off my 302 hanging around, and by the looks of the grooves cut in the linkage, it had a spring going forward. If I remember correctly, it attached to a bracket that went on an intake manifold bolt. But that's long gone! Besides, if you have a 4-barrel on it, in my opinion, just do whatever looks clean and simple.
