Have someone listen at the fuel tank when you first switch on the ignition. The pump should run a few seconds each time you switch on the ignition. It is in the tank. If there is no noise, you will need to check to see if it's getting power. Sorry, I don't have that model, so I don't know which relay to tell you to check, but you could try swapping similar relays to see if that is the problem.
Make sure to check the inertia switch also. If that doesn't solve the problem you will have to find the circuit and use a test lite or voltmeter and start tracing. But the relay circuit is the first place I would check. I don't know how to tell you where it is, because I don't have one now, and never had that problem when I did have one. Did you try swapping relays?
Pull back the carpeting front passenger side. You will see a switch located on the firewall near the tranny hump. Makes sure the wires going into it are seated. Next press the button to reset it. Try starting truck.
If that doesn't work, check the fuel pump relay. It is located under the hood in a black box [power distribution box]. The lid of the box will have a list as to what relay controls what. Switch out a non essential relay for the fuel pump relay. Try starting truck.
If that doesn't work, you may have a bad ground, a short or the fuel pump itself is bad. Do the simple stuff first.
