I'm getting a squeeking noise in the right front suspension whenever it compresses. Will a spray of some lubricant fix it? If so, could someone recommend one for me?
Usually this sound appeare when lower arm rubber insulators are worn. But check all carefully from underneath. Ask someone to rock your van and hear for unusual sound.
pinpoint the noise first
shotgun spraying the rubber/neoprene suspension components with an oil/grease based product causes deterioration of the rubber.
may also be failed shock broken seal bent shaft
upper suspension arm bushings worn out
or a body/frame part on rt. side
Upper ball joint wear will do this also, especially when under compression such as slowly bumping over a curb/driveway culvert. Not usually a high pitched squeek though, more of a loud "crunch" or "gronk" noise. Hard to reproduce by bouncing. Upper joint wear is a common malady.
