new member here monroe LA.
just got my dream truck a panel truck its a 54 f100 have been looking for the vin# to check the number on the title but can not find it can someone please tell me some places to look.

the vin tag should be on your glove box door . it's attached with four screws so dont be suprised if it's gone awol . your title should have it , and the only other place i can think of at this moment is on the crossmember under the radiator .also welcome to the zoo and pictures please !
oh yeah a good many of 'em have gotten other vin tags in there life times for whatever reason so dont be suprised if the title and it dont match !!

I actually found mine stamped on the top of the frame, right above where the front spring mounts to the frame. But have heard they are on the crossmember too as 55 stated. One things for sure if its on the frame it won't be easy to locate or read after 54 years. Good luck and congrats on your dream truck, panels are cool.

I have a 53 f100 and I found the number stamped onto the top of the right frame rail just ahead of the firewall. You will probably have to clean the area with a wire wheel or something.
