motor/tranny mounts
i have an '87 5.0 that i want to drop in my '68... and i know they make the 302 mounts but are these the kind that you bolt to the frame or weld? and secondly, i am putting the t5 tranny in also... what about the tranny mount? fab one or can i use/modify what i have? (i have the 3sp manual)

Get a set of frame perches and mounts from a 70-77 with a 302.They are a direct bolt in for your 68.The front crossmember was changed in 78 and they are not a direct bolt in.As far as the trans mount you will likely have to modify the 3 speed crossmember or fab a new one.
