ya gotta say it is a source of secondary heat, the oil burner/gas stove etc is primary, the wood is merely there for ambiance

they still hit ya even if you say it just sits there. if its a fireplace its ok, but then its got to pass a pile of inspections. they've really made it a pain in the ***!!

Ya know, I have found it isnt all that bad. They do have some set restrictions, but they really arent that bad to do. Sure not as easy as it used to be.

charge you an extra 25% is what i was told. less if its a fireplace instead of a stove. nowadays a person has to do it for personal reasons cause it does nothing for resale value.
