Front leaf spring help!!

Ok, I haven't posted for awhile since my truck "74 crewcab 4x4" has been in pieces and out to various shops getting worked on.. I finally got the frame back and now I am starting to put the truck back together.. "Frame up restoration"??????

My questions is which way do Skyjacker 4" front springs go.. I put the springs on and the bolts that hold the springs together, the ones that fit into the axle pads, don't line up???

I tried to eyeball it to see where the bumpstop would hit when the spring was completly flexed but cannot determine which spring needs to be flipped.. Basicaly one of the springs has to be turned, but which one..

One spring bolt lines up with the bumpstop pad the othe is slightly forward of it. When flexed the one that is slightly forward looks like it would hit it just right the other looks like it would hit just aft of the spring bolt. Common sense would be to make the axles hit the bumpstop when flexed. However, the spring bolt that is forward looks too far forward and I am worried about the tires fitting in the wheel well properly...

Any suggestions???

Ok, just measured the length from the front hanger. one side measures 28 inches from the hanger to the centering pin. the other measures 26 inches..

Can someone tell me what the measurement is suppose to be from the front hanger to the center axle pin on the skyjacker springs?
