Hello 6.0L forum!!! Although I am no newbie to this site, I am new to this forum topic. I have been in the 94-97 7.3L forum for several years as an FTE. Tonight, I traded my old gal in on a 6.0L 2004 F-250 Harley edition. So I guess I am startin' all over again and learning a new motor and truck (to me).
I just wanted to say hi, and thanks in advance for any help I will get from here. In the 94-97 forum, I cannot speak enough about all the valueable info and insight I was able to get!! My expectation is I will get no less here either judging from the info I have read thus far.
Oh yeah! There's some techs and a lot of know it alls (not being a smart **** either, smart dudes). Welcome to the dark side of the Powerstrokes....you'll love it!
Too bad you didn't keep your 7.3 when you moved here, could have gone to Woodbury over to Bean's and had all your mod sickness taking care of there as Bean prefers to work on 7.3s over 6.0(mine gave him a headache).
Yeah I thought about it, but putting 3K into a truck thatw as only worth 3k wasn't a smart move. Besdies, My occasional pull or haul vehicle had now become a daily commuter. I don't want a 5 speed manual tank that has cab room at all for that.
She was a good girl, but I bought her cheap, kept her running good, and she did her job well.
Im still under warranty, but once thats done I want to do some mods. (6 months left).
I also want to read through the other mods for this truck and see what other goodies I want :-) It looks as though it has a factory tow hitch, so may need to replace that and do some basic upgrades for pulling first.
