almost stalling
Hi all. If you'll bear with me I'm a little new here. Ihave a 91 F150 with 302/5.0 and the AOD trans. My problem is that when I come to a hard stop the truck seems like the torque convertor can't unluck fast enough, this mainly happens from same 40mph or so to moderate stop. The truck has 73,000 on it and changed the filter and flushed the transmission, but it still acts the same. The truck has done this for the year and a half I've owned it but is getting worse, it's almost to the point that the truck tries to stall about 300 rpm or so on the tach. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
