I have been to the one in Kelowna a few times. Bought a huge cresent wrench cause they didn't have the wrench I needed. They do seem to have some of the obscure stuff that is sometimes hard to find.

Princess Auto is great for some stuff. I dont know the quality of their wrenches and stuff, but they definatly have some neat stuff that a guy can use for light duty, or a few time uses. I buy lights and stuff there too cause I just dont need expensive lights.

I think most of the tools have a warranty anyway or it seems like it.

EVERYTHING in the store is under a warrenty of "No sale is complete, until your satisfied" I had a LED head light break (after 3 years). I was buying a replacement. And I said as much to the Cashier, she told me to bring the borken one in, and they would replace it for free.. Cool...

It is a good policy. Nothing is worse than breaking something and not having it replaced. A little more work for them but if it keeps a customer coming back to spend money it is most likely worth the extra work.

My dad swears by the stuff sold at canadian tire. He is pretty hard on tools too, and he has good luck with their warranty.

I have taken tools back there and don't remember having any issues. I even got a refund for some open electrical stuff which they don't usually take back.

I havent taken tools back but I have taken tons of other stuff back, they have been good to me.

One time I took back a whole ton of plumber fittings and that was kind of a pain, but they did take em all back.

The plus is you don't have to run back and get the stuff you didn't get the first time.
