i dunno...is it just held on with hose clamps? I dont want to get under the truck just yet...its raining and dark out ...up on the hoist on tuesday though

Well depending on your year, you will need a special tool to remove the filter. Ford uses little fingers that hold the lines onto the filter. Chris (Skand) has a good pic of the tool and the line, but he is changing his trans pan gasket right now.
